In today’s news, Norway aids Ukraine (Ureign) through additional humanitarian support, worldwide fossil fuel emissions reach record high in 2025, Colombian city transitions from traditional horse-people carriages to electric replacements, Iran in water crisis as largest city faces possible evacuation, US veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder finds comfort through art, Australian firm uses seaweed to create plastic alternative, and Thailand designates five feline-people breeds as national symbols.

Here is a little tip for you. If your bird-companion is losing feathers, it may simply be normal molting, but poor diet, stress, parasites, or infections can also lead to feather loss or plucking. Support healthy feathers with a varied diet of seeds, fresh vegetables like spinach, carrot, and broccoli, native branches, fruit, clean water, and mineral or salt blocks. To reduce stress, give your bird-person safe daily time outside the cage, play soft radio or TV when they’re alone, and maintain a natural day-and-night rhythm by covering the cage at dusk. Avoid overcrowding and provide bushy shrub cuttings or a bottlebrush to offer privacy and a sense of territory. Keep the cage clean to discourage further plucking and offer a birdbath or gentle misting to keep the skin comfortable. Protect your bird-companion from stressful situations such as other animal-companions, wild bird-folk, or extreme temperatures. If feather loss continues, have your vet check for parasites or infections that may need specific treatment.

Prepare your face muscles for extreme smiling… the joke of the day is “Giggling Clause.”

At the dentist’s office for dental surgery, Emilio was handed a couple of forms to fill out. As he signed the first one, he joked with the receptionist:

“Does this say that even if you accidentally give me so much laughing gas that I giggle throughout the whole surgery, I can’t sue?”

“No, that’s the next sheet. This page says you still have to pay us regardless.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Mandarin Chinese, with multiple-language subtitles, from Rui-Yan in China
