Bountiful harvests are always a joy. Here is a fruitful tip for you. If your tomatoes aren’t turning red, extreme temperatures might be the reason. Tomatoes are climacteric fruits, which means they can ripen after being picked. To speed things up, place your green tomatoes in a paper bag. This traps natural ethylene gas, helping the fruit ripen from green to red. For even faster results, add a ripe banana or apple to the bag, as they also release ethylene. Keep the bag in a spot that stays around 21–24°C, or normal room temperature. Depending on conditions, ripening may take a few days to two weeks. If your tomatoes are still on the plant, try topping the bush by cutting off the growing tips. This encourages the plant to focus energy on ripening the existing fruit rather than growing bigger.

Ready your ribs - it’s time for today’s chuckle champion! This one’s called “A Little Perspective.”

A father told his adult daughter, a stay-at-home mom with three young girls, about the downside to retirement:

“Yeah... You no longer feel happy about Fridays, you know. When you’re retired, every day is Friday.”

“I know what you mean, Dad, when you’re a stay-at-home mom, every day is Monday.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Trâm Vinh in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
