I have a safety tip for you. If you need to evacuate your home due to fire, flood or other disasters, be sure to bring your animal companions safely with you. Set small animal-people in secure cages and leash dog-people in case they bolt after hearing frightening sounds in unfamiliar surroundings. Pack enough water and food for at least a week and bring their favorite toys or blankets. Be prepared by having an emergency kit ready, containing carriers, leashes, medications, and your animal friends’ medical records. Be on the lookout for any other animal-folk in need who are in distress or have been left behind. Document their location and promptly notify local authorities or animal-people rescue organizations.

“How was that for a stunning bit of surgery?!”
“Not bad. Now let’s see you put it back together.”
