[Number] 81: “The appreciation of objects and subjects is the same for an enlightened person as well as for an unenlightened person. The former” means the enlightened one “has one greatness:” That is, “he remains in the subjective mood, not lost in the object.” […] Now, what He (Lord Shiva) meant is that, suppose the desire arises in the two people at the same time, the enlightened one and the une

Simple life. If you go on holiday, you just go straight to Miaoli. There’s nowhere… You see, Christmas, you don’t have to buy anything. No turkey(-people) meat. No Christmas tree nonsense, all this. No cutting any trees. You just go straight on the airplane and land in Hsihu. It’s a very simple life now, indeed. (Yes.) Yeah. And when you went on holiday before, you would pack a lot of useless stuf

Number 73. Before that was number 72? If I say 73, now you make it 72. Now this is the real 73. Number 72 is now supposed to be number 73? It is very important, the number. Now, this is 72, but [it] becomes 73. “Before desire and before knowing, how can I say I am? Consider.” Consider this mystical, nonsensical koan and then, “Dissolve in the Beauty.” The Beauty – this means the One, the Almighty,

Aha! Improved. Both sides improved. Yeah, looks better. I thought you meditate. Never mind. Since you don’t meditate, OK, you don’t meditate. It’s cold, huh, today? (Yes.) Better than yesterday. The cold has become “better.” It’s colder. Today, the men have “eaten” the line, and the women are “thrown out.” It’s funny. You always do things in such an extreme way. Very drastic change. (Yes.) Funny.

No. Oh what? No, no, no, I cannot. I cannot enter the piercing, sorry, I don’t like it. Actually, in the old times, there were such practices like this. Don’t think, if you are a weak husband, an obedient husband in such a “nice,” stupid way, that your family will be in order. It’s not true, it’s not a way to make peace in the family. You just make it more of a mess, because you give your wife the opportunity to disrespect you and to climb more and more on top of you, and then everything is out of proportion. You must know where to stand and what

Each one must have their place and take care of their own duty. You do your best. You go out to earn your money and you take care of your family. You love your wife and be faithful, as I have taught you. […] Don’t you eve

So the rabbi asked them what they were discussing. So the male priest said, “
