If going back to Âu Lạc (Vietnam) meant the government would treat them fairly, then it would be fine, we wouldn’t say anything. […] I heard someone had a handful of gold saved, but still chose to stay in the refugee camp rather than return to Âu Lạc (Vietnam). It’s not true that they left because they were poor, say it wrongly. If they were poor, how did they have money to buy gold, or to buy tickets to go by boat?
