What’s your name? (Ferdinand.) Ah, Ferdinand. French? (No.) No? (I’m Austrian.) Austrian! Really! (Yes.) Ferdinand is an Austrian name? (Yes.) Ah! (Maximilian. Maximilian Ferdinand. Maximilian married a Mexican woman.) Oh! (He was the Emperor of Austria.) Aha. (Yes.) And are you the grandson? (No, I don’t think so.) Pardon? (No, that’s not true.) Not true, huh? That was a long time ago, yes? (Yes.) And where, what…? (I must say, good evening.) Who are you? Then who are you? (Me? I’m just a...) A normal Buddha! (A mountain farmer’s son.) A farmer! (A mountain farmer’s son.) Mountain farmer? (Yes.) Ah. (I come from the highest mountain in Austria.) Oh, that’s lovely. (Yes.)

The mountains are always so beautiful in Austria. (Yes, it’s... Have You been there? It’s very beautiful.) Yes, indeed. (You’ve been to the Grossglockner?) Maybe not, but another route... so many places in Austria. (Yes.) In the mountains, where you can ski. (Exactly. Yes. Also in summer.) In summer too? Wow, that must be very cold then. It’s very cold where you are. (On the glacier, yes.) Yes. (Yes.) I don’t want to be there! (No.) I’m afraid of cold weather. OK. (Many thanks, many thanks.) You’re welcome. Have a nice evening. Are you the only German here? (I think so, yes.) Ah, yes. The others have already gone home. (I don’t know which others are here.) Any Austrians left? Already gone. So how’s everyone? We’re going back to America. (Once again, “Grüß Gott” and thank You very much.) Grüß Gott, yes. (Grüß Gott.) Grüß Gott. We’re going back to America. We go back to America.

So how is everybody? (Fine. Good.) Good, fine? (Yes.) I’m very brave, right? (Yes.) Is it cold there? (No.) No, OK. How many Aulacese (Vietnamese) here? Raise your hand. Whoever is from Âu Lạc (Vietnam), raise your hand so I can see. Oh, my God! Oh, my God! I give up. Oh, my God. And how many of you understand English? All of you – anyone who understands English. Oh, yeah? All of you understand English? (Yes.) If you don’t understand English, why did you sit here? (Nowhere to sit.) The translator is behind, right? What do you want me to talk about? I have run out of subjects. (Anything.) Anything. Oh, the flower is beautiful. And I’m beautiful also. (Yes.) Alright, that’s it. Finished the lecture. Oh, you told me to talk about anything.

Do you have any question or subject you want me to discuss with you? No? All have earphones or not? (Yes.) (Yes.) Everybody in the front also? Everyone has this, right? (Yes, we do.) So in case I speak in Aulacese (Vietnamese), English, or any language, you can understand all, right? (Yes.) OK. You have the earphones, in case. Put in one ear first. Because if you put in both ears, you cannot hear me. What do you want me to say? (Master, please speak in Aulacese [Vietnamese].) I am asking for a topic, not a language. (Tell stories.) (How are You today, Master?) Oh, I’m OK. Fit to go to the Moon. How was initiation today? Who are the new ones? Whoever just got initiated, raise your hand so I can see. Who are the new initiates? Who are those initiated today? All raise your hands for me to have a look. OK. What? What did you say? Yeah, I know. Yes. There are some over here too. Fine. Congratulations. Congratulations!

Our rescue team has not come back yet? (Yes, we have come back, Master.) Came back! Come here, come here. Tell me what is what. Come, come, come. Today, you could see the people? (Yes, we just stopped by one of the shelters in Altadena.) How many people there? (We didn’t see anyone there.) It’s the fire rescue team. What? You didn’t see anybody? (Because the door was locked.) Oh. (They might have been transferred to another place. So we shipped about four shipments today to four disaster centers across the southern California.) Four? (That’s correct. And we tried to work with a Mission Evangelist, some ministry in Monrovia, to arrange a visit to one of the centers, either one, maybe the one up in Altadena or the one in Orange County, whichever is the biggest. So, Master might have a chance to go and visit the fire victims.) Oh, thanks. Thanks for the chance.

(For today’s report, we have shipped about 1,600 and 1,700 bags of clothes and toiletries, and 1,800 bags of toys, and 3,500 bags of [vegan] food to four separate disaster centers.) Well done. (We also did not forget to put a free booklet inside the bags.) Put magazines, it’s easy. (Magazines?) (The free booklet?) You don’t have magazines? (Oh, that’s right.) Magazines are easier to read, right? (So next time we’re going to put both of them in the bag.) Everybody likes the magazine, right? It’s colorful, and everybody likes it – many stories – and they love it. Booklets, looks like they’re going to have to be vegan in a second. Well to you, it’s different. You’re used to it. The magazine is useful for them also, in some cases; or give both, give both. Why didn’t you ever think of that? (Probably because we were in a hurry, so…) You’re always in a hurry. You can think of the book, why couldn’t you think of the magazine? It takes the same amount of energy and time. Because we don’t give people only (vegan) food. We give the spiritual blessing through the books and the teachings. This is longer lasting for them.

I’m sorry, but the candy helps me not to cough so much, because it makes you worry. The doctor already tried his best. He gave me many batches of medicine. I eat more medicine than food nowadays, and he gave me the stronger one this time. And it seems better, but I don’t know. I never know. Until when I finish the medicine tomorrow. It seems better sometimes. Just like this morning I…

Where is Minh? Is Minh here? (Minh left already, Master.) Where did she go? (She went to deliver some stuff, Master.) What stuff? (Delivering [vegan] food and some toys, Master.) Didn’t (…) already deliver them? (Yes, […] delivered one load, but […] is delivering another, Master.) Does that girl know how to handle it? (Yes, I asked her to go with Dr. Hào, Master.) Delivering to where? To a different place? (Yes.) It’s not your work? (Yes, there were two trips today, Master. One trip to Monrovia. The other trip to Santa Ana. We’re trying to deliver them very quickly.) Going out at night? (Yes, we’re trying to get everything delivered, [because] tomorrow we have more tasks.) That list from earlier... The list you have listed included that? (Including that.) OK. (That’s correct.)

Like this morning, we told someone to go and send some help, send some money to a victim, one of the family [members]. The baby who was hit by a car or something. That was on the newspaper. And I told him to go and send some money – US$1,000 for that family. And he just took the money and that’s it. He forgets anything else. It’s OK also. But we should take every opportunity to let people know the Greater Source of comfort. Greater One, the Greatest One. Because it doesn’t come from money, and it doesn’t come from clothing and food. It comes from a Greater Source. That is a true comfort. We should always take the opportunity to let people know that, especially you, the disciples. If you have enjoyed all the blessings only and never worked to share it with other people, then you are doing yourself a disservice. Because your blessing will be limited, that much. But the more you give, the more it flows through you, and then you become richer and richer, just like you’re expanding a business. It’s not me who has to work alone. I work already a lot; I have a lot of work to do. But you have to work, because you’re more – more manpower, and you are spread out all over the world. You have to do the work more than I do, right? Otherwise, if you keep just relying on me, it’s not possible.

Everybody, wherever I go, they just say, “Oh, Master, come to my house. Master, come to our place and spread the Teaching to the people.” I say, “Why don’t you do it? Why don’t you spread it?” They just wait for me to work. You have to work. Yes, you are the same like me, you’re even bigger in size. When you buy clothes, you buy M or L. I buy S, XS, extra small. So I work extra “little,” and you work extra more. It should be that way. Not that you eat more than I do, you waste more clothes than I do, and then you work less than I do. That is not fair.

The world depends on you to have peace and freedom. Peace within ourselves, and freedom from all worries and fears. That’s the true freedom.
