I’m not sure when, that we could bring anywhere. It depends, you see? So, for example, this time we go to different countries. And some countries, they don’t exhibit the (Celestial) jewelry because it’s not safe. Not safe to bring them in and to exhibit them. And some places, they don’t allow to bring goods from other countries in. So, it depends. It depends whether we can bring it next time to you. But you can order anytime – if you need it. If you already have the other tent, then use it. It’s OK. (Not good for meditating.) What? (It’s no good for meditating.) Not good for meditation... Yeah, it’s too low, too hot. (Mosquitoes.) Yes, yes, the mosquitoes come in also. It’s also very low, and you put all your luggage, and shoes, and everything in the tent. Poor people. Two people sleep in the tent with luggage and everything.
But with this tent, you put all the luggage outside. And also, with some other tents, you can also put the luggage outside, but the bigger and heavier ones. Only those can have like outer structure, so you can put the tent around, or your belongings around. This one is very light, very small, very neat. And you can have so much, so much space, and so much use. And you can protect your shoes, and your luggage and everything. And when waiting for the bus, you can still cover yourself and the luggage. That’s genius. Yeah, cool, huh? The raincoat’s not enough for everything. Not even sometimes for yourself. So, this is really cool. I think I have to praise myself again, again, and again.
Maybe it’s a little expensive compared to other tents. How much did you pay for the other tent? Same price? (Yes, about the same.) (The same price in London for two-man tents.) Same price in London for two-man tents. But you couldn’t put luggage around it. Yeah, different. (Once you get your luggage and everything in, it’s one-man [tent].) Oh, when you put your luggage, there’s only [room for] one. With this one, your luggage is all outside. And you could hang your wet clothes outside to dry, too. Inside, when it rains, you protect them by hanging them and dropping them inside, because there’s still a little roof. Or you put your luggage there and like wrap your clothes over it. Because they still will dry. But [with] the other tent, there’s just nothing. You put everything in your tent, and you sleep on top of them, like a storeroom.
(When everybody has that, then it will be also easier to organize things, I think, in a retreat, because it’s smaller. It saves space.) Yes, yes, saves space. And you can hang it [from] any tree at all. (We need to grow our own trees.) Oh, we have a lot of trees around. You just have to flatten a space enough for your tent under one tree and you hang it; even a small tree is enough. With those small trees, you just... You don’t have to hang a string over, just hang it on the branch. You hang it a little… If you have a branch like this, then you hang it in the middle. If you don’t have any branch at all, you hang it over here, and then slide it on one side to sleep. It doesn’t look as good as when you hang it like that, but it’s still functionable. You still can be safe and dry and sleep in there, and still have a lot of space for luggage.
(There’s one hanging off the light pole...) What? Yes, yes. (It’s by hanging off the light pole.) You mean hang it on the electric pole? (Yes.) Yes, possible. I saw that. Anything! It doesn’t even have to be like this. Even if it’s pulled straight like this, you just hang it on that turret. And then you spread it, slantwise like this, and you sleep over it. It’s OK. (Yes.) No problem. It’s really a very, very cool tent. And even if the wind blows, it’s still there. It might twist around, but it’s still there. (It twists around.) But with the other tent, it will move, or everything’s all gone. Because here, everything hangs together. So even if your tent is blown around, it’ll still not break anything. With the other tent, if it’s blown away, sometimes the pole breaks. (Right. Yes.) And if one breaks, you’re finished.
This one never lets you down in the middle of a retreat or anywhere. You always are safe. And even if you don’t have anywhere to hang it at all, you put it on top of your head, and you sit there. Yeah, yeah. You still can sit and meditate. Because it has like a hat. And it would not... Because it has a ring around it, and you just put it on your head. It will never flip on your face, and suffocate you. At least it protects you from the mosquitoes. You sit there, put it on your head on there, and then it’s just hanging there. It hangs like this. You see? It is not on your face. Because with all the mosquitoes, if you put it on your head like this, it will hang on your face. But this one has room. When you hang it, it hangs outside like this. Like a hat. And it goes down like this, so it just sits perfectly. It’s good for outside meditation. Like some [places], we don’t have a roof like this. It’s very good.
(Is it lightning proof?) Lightning-proof? Yeah, it has no pole on it, so it should be. (That’s another one.) It’s not dangerous like an umbrella. And it’s plastic. There’s no iron or anything in there. So, it doesn’t attract any of the electricity. It’s plastic. I made sure it was plastic. But this is a good, special plastic. Very special. It’s unbreakable. And non-toxic, nothing. And the ring in there, you can twist it any way you want. It will spring out again. So, you just open it, and it springs out, and then your tent is there already. You don’t have to do anything. (It’s handy if you’re putting your tent up at four in the morning, it will be…) At four in the morning, yes, it’s handy. You just spring it out, and it’s out already. And if you want to nail it, you nail. If you don’t want [to], you [can] come back and nail it later and stretch it out later. You can still throw all your things in there and protect them and go. With the other tent it’s not possible.
You see, [with] this tent, you can just tie a knot on the tree and throw all your things in there. You can spread it in four corners, so the tent is already straight without any nails yet. You put one luggage here, one sleeping bag there, in the four corners, and the tent is already spread out. Because it has the ring to already spread it out. So, you just stretch it out like that. And of course, you nail it, because when it’s windy, it’s better that it’s safe on the ground. But otherwise, you don’t need [to]. Just luggage is enough. If you want to, spread it beforehand to protect your luggage, and then just go meditate. When you come back, you don’t even have to nail yet. You just sleep in first. And if you want it pretty and neat and straight, more straight, then you nail it. Just take the nails out, And choop-choop-choop. If it’s on the soft soil, you just push and then it goes down. If it’s not soft, you use a stone or something or a twig nearby and nail it. Very simple. It’s not too much trouble. It’s a really good one.
I have two at home. One day, I really needed a mosquito net to sit outside because in the house, I don’t like air-con so much. And outside, the wind breezes so nicely. Why do I have to sit in the house with the air-con? But when I go outside, so many mosquitoes, insects… Not just mosquitoes – insects, sometimes in the garden. It’s fresh, and it’s damp, and a lot of insects fly around, and they bother you. They don’t bite. They just bother you. And if it’s a little dark, and you put the light on, that’s it! Everybody goes to the light, and you’re finished. You can never enjoy the outdoor garden. So [with] this tent, if you have a coconut tree, you just hang it on the branch of the coconut. Or hang it on the tree, hang it on the electric pole, hang it on the... or under the gazebo. Hang it under your corridor. As long as there is something to hang [it on]. If not, just nail a nail and then hang it there. Hang it on the wall. Anything!
And if you hang one string like this, like the one I hung out there, and if you do it this way, you can have like five tents over there. Yeah. If you hang it this way, it’s only two. But if you hang it, how do you say... (Slanted?) No, no, no. (Parallel?) No, because this time, I hang the long side together, you see? Long... this long, and this long. But if you hang the narrow side together, parallel, sideways, then you can hang maybe four over there, or five. Because it’s slim. It’s very long, but it’s slim here. So, if you hang it the slim way, you can hang one, two, three, four, five together. It’s cool, too. It saves a lot of space. Just one string, and then hang, hang, hang, hang like this.
(Master, can I have a sample, please?) You don’t have money to buy? (Doesn’t matter. I will make it somehow.) OK, OK. OK. What is it? (Nothing, just holding it.) (It’s OK. I said already.) Where are you from? Africa? (No, I’m originally from Sri Lanka, but I’m living in Vienna.) Oh, you’re in Vienna. Oh, you told me about that. Oh, you can have it. It’s no problem. You ask the one who is responsible. So, one, two, three. No, one... no, one, two. Three? No, you don’t want it. (No, no.) Oh, you can pay for it. (My wife, she’s from Poland, I can give [it to her].) OK. (Not for me. But for my wife. She cannot come.) OK, OK. Then you pay for her. No, no. You don’t have to. Whatever. Whatever, I don’t care. Whatever. Oh, whatever. It’s the last ones. I just want to give a gift. It’s fine. Finito. No more.
What? She wants one? No more. Finito. (Have to order.) Have to order. It’s just my generosity. You normally have to pay. A lot of people want to buy the samples. But Tao said, “No, no. We need to leave them there for people to inspect.” The people who couldn’t buy or didn’t see it yet, they want to inspect inside-out first. And then you can have them. Tao, give them to those three people. One black one and two white ones. And give mine up there to the Swiss lady later on. You have to ask Tao, OK? Whoever I have promised, you know them. If somebody claims fakely, you tell me. It’s just a gift for you. I can’t give everybody, of course. It’s just the last three. And it just happens that they don’t have money, and they want it, so I give it to them. And he wants a commission for “his idea.” Alright, I give to you. (I can’t say it’s commission.) You take the tent. That’s enough.
(We have only three left.) Huh? (We have only three samples left.) Are they sold? (Sold, and there is one…) Oh, only two left? (Only three left, including the one at the “Publication Circulation Team” and the one down there.) Oh, I’m sorry. There are only two left. (Oh! Oh!) So whoever I promised first, that one takes it. OK? This one I promised first. And who else is first? Her or you? (Him.) Him. OK. Promised to give. (It’s OK. Let it be for her.) OK, then you two can have it. (Yay.) And the one upstairs from me is for the Switzerland (sister). Three is OK. And you order, OK? You order. Because I have already promised. It’s not... I don’t care. There are only three left. One’s already taken away, because there were three samples, but one’s already taken away. She couldn’t sell all of them, so she gave them one. So, there were only two left. And one from me, there are three. Wow, huh? Lucky people! Have such a good designer like me.
