A revolutionary group of robotic farm workers is now removing weeds without the need for herbicides. Developed by Greenfield Robotics, a Kansas-based company specializing in agricultural robotics, these bright yellow battery-powered machines are transforming weed control. Measuring four feet (1.2 meters) long and two feet (0.6 meters) wide, the robots move freely through crop fields, carefully navigating to avoid damaging the plants. Equipped with AI and programmed using computerized data points, these smart machines efficiently monitor and manage fields without the need for human guidance.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, USA, states online, “Drones will soon be Forsyth County’s newest life-saving tool, flying an AED to a cardiac arrest patient, increasing the chance of survival.” Dr. George Sopko, Managing Director of the US National Institutes of Health, believes it’s a great idea, especially for rural and hard-to-reach areas. Minutes matter, and any chance to get ahead can save lives.

Dr. Yanliang Zhang, Chief Scientist at Weston Robot, explains that with AI, the company’s robot can identify rubbish and flotsam and collect garbage more efficiently than traditional methods. This means operators no longer need to sit on a boat, which can be slippery after rain, making the work environment safer and more comfortable. Instead, they can supervise a robot’s operation from a control room.

A team of researchers from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have constructed the WalkON Suit F1 for paraplegic users. The device is a type of exoskeleton that users can wear from their wheelchairs without needing help from others. Professor Kong, of Mechanical Engineering, KAIST, explained that the WalkON Suit is the culmination of wearable robot technology for the disabled.

In the final innovative concept we present today, Korea’s LG Electronics has launched modular Smart Cottage homes. The compact, prefabricated AI-based dwellings are equipped with cutting-edge LG appliances for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to effectively serve users.
